Our overall experience with this school is good. Though there were some admin issues initially but academics were never compromised. The staff and infra of this school is great especially when it comes to lower grade as my child is in grade 2. There are lot of competitive activities happening throughout the year which gives a great exposure to students. Also they have a clear focus on extra curricular activities apart from academics which ensures overall development of students. My child is close to completing her 1st year in this school on a very positive note. And last but not the least their grand annual event has already won the hearts of all the parents across all the grades. Recently, they arranged annual functions as well and kudos to the teachers who made all the efforts for the day and brought smile on students and parents.
Now a days, we don't need schools to be just running behind studies but to guide them in overall development.
So, I feel GIIS balewadi is doing pretty good to achieve this.

this school is horrible from the infrastructure to the teachers to the students. there is no filter in the crowd for an IB school. Infact, a few of the english/language and literature along with a lot of other teachers cant even speak english. paying such a big fees for such a bad experience is definitely not worth it, please dont send your children to this school to only regret the decision later. The exams are organised in an awful manner, the syllabus is rushed through with during the last 2 weeks and when we do actually give the exams, a lot of topics have not been covered because the teachers lack appropriate planning. The wifi routers also stop working every 30 minutes and the robot classes which are conducted every 2 days are an utter waste of time. During the summers, there have been a lot of complaints about AC's which do not work in the classrooms as well as the busses. There is also no form of filtering during the admissions because of the desperation of money so the students which come in are bad influence, some even being illiterate and not being able to speak basic english. Few items during the school lunch are always over when the DP students eat. The boarding is even worse, the AC gets shut off in the middle of the night leaving the students sweating in the night. The study hour given is absolutely useless and the boarding teachers are of no use other than shouting at students for no reason. One of the students in the boarding even ended his own life, theres an article about that you should read about. Please think this through thoroughly before sending your kids to Indus.

First the school has the worst management and the secondary block does not has adequate facilities. When first visited the school they show you the outer infrastructure which is not at all how it is on the inside. When inside the block (Especially the secondary block) half of the time there is a wifi outage or electricity outage so don't believe them when they say its fully wifi enabled campus. There are 4 different wifi's which are available with none of them working properly, you will have to switch back and forth if u want constant access. The projectors which are shown in the pictures, don't function at all, every time there is one or another person coming and checking the projector before class waiting 10 mins. You might think that this school provides AC's and smart features, which it does but they don't function properly also. Around the whole block we had to share one single remote for 5-6 different Ac's, and if the remote is lost or not working then forget about even using them. In 10th grade, there is personal project, e-portfolio, and the boards which students have to prepare for. This school shows no responsibility towards proper planning in order to manage these things throughout the year. The mocks which are taken are also not well planned clashing with personal project dates and eportfolio leaving you no time for studying and preparing for boards. Either you prepare for boards and don't think about the submission dates for Personal project and E-portfolio or the other way around, So be prepared to face this throughout the year. The PP head who is responsible to maintain the submissions and dates does not even have proper planning and only care for submissions rather than academics. They are willing to compromise academics for submission so that they can further be "checked" which they call the moderation week. If you still think you can manage to study with all of these things than one another thing can get your hopes down. The bus management which is provided from the school is utterly trash. The routes are not at all well planned so trust me u wont reach home before 5:15 pm even if the school gets over at 3:10 only. It's not only the the time it takes but also seat facilities in the bus. I have seen people literally racing to the bus to get a proper seat. Some busses even have 30 people, so be ready to share your seat with two other people. If your hoping to at least get AC conditioned air in the bus while sitting then forget about that as well, because the AC water leaks every two days. The Busses are also not proper so they will break down every two days. If you fight for a new bus to the management they won't do anything so don't waste your time, I have personally fought with them for 6 months. The other blocks such as the pyp are designed very well which is kind of discriminating to other students who require it more than pyp kids. There is delay of food and sometimes even shortage of food. If you don't make it early then im sorry you won't get any snacks. When they don't have a availability of snacks it automatically changes to banana or some other fruits. Last year when I was in the school they at least used to provide dishes and even ketchup for snacks which is now not provided as well. There is favoritism in this school a lot. Some teacher favor certain students. One of the most "interesting" thing which happened was that the head of academics created a red and yellow slip rule. The red slip is for a student who is poor in academics and this also goes in the college application. But, it didn't work out at all and this rule can demotivate students further leading to mental health problems.
I would have rather gone to public school if I knew this, so pls don't make the mistake I made. Hopefully u found this helpful, thank you.

3. 40,000 rs plus bus service fees. Stupid distance calculation method. No tracking for bus even after such huge charges.
4. More than 15 divisions per grade with 30 students per class. So almost 400-500 students in very grade. Just calculate how many students overall in school. And will your child get enough time in facilities.
5. Very less outside time for sports. You have to pay extra for everything
6. Don’t get impressed by all the facilities. Just see how many students they have and will your child get attention in crowd.
7. For 6-7km school distance travelling time is one hour each side.
8. Complete responsibility is class teacher for A-z of your child. She will also call for school fees even if you are not late. Of course school management asks teachers to make such calls. Not a fault of teachers

As a concerned parent, I am deeply disappointed with my initial experience with the school. When I called to inquire about the admission process, the staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Their behavior was unacceptable, and when I asked them to behave politely, they started yelling at me. This kind of behavior is not acceptable from a school that is responsible for educating young minds. I have serious doubts about the management of this school, and I am now hesitant to admit my child here.
It is evident that this school is solely focused on making money and not on nurturing the talents of the students. I am afraid that my child's potential will be lost if they join this school. I urge the school to not only prioritize financial gains but also to consider how they treat parents and children. It is important to remember that running a school is not just a business, but also a responsibility towards the community. I strongly urge the school to reconsider their behavior and attitude towards parents and children. It is my sincere request to the management to improve their conduct and attitude towards parents and students. If not, I believe this school should be shut down, as it is not providing the right environment for the education and growth of children.

School located on the side of a busy road with practically no parking facility for guardians. Though the school claims to be English medium, very few students can converse in English properly. There are too many children in a class/section, hence adequate individual attention is generally not provided to them. View classroom lectures being delivered in varied shift system by teachers with limited teaching skills the children tend to gain limited mental growth. The annual fee is quite cheap compared to other quality schools in the locality which is perhaps the reason why people seek admission here. The school lacks good playgrounds which results in students missing out in outdoor activities. A few of their school bus drivers tend to drive very rashly, hence it is very essential to think about the safety of the children prior availing the facility. Overall a very below average pedestrian school which is generally patronised because the fee is relatively cheap.

Worst experience in this school ….worst school n staff ..too harsh teachers ..this school is only for clever students not for an average students the treatment they give is too bad if your child is an average in academic I feel it can affect a childs confidence ..n there is no scope for curriculum activities n sports they just want to make robots ..killing a kids childhood. speaking as a mother it really feels sad that there is still a school out there that have such outdated methods of teaching or grooming a kid at his or her initial moment

I went to Symbiosis school as I am looking for a school to get my daughters admitted in nursery and K.G. respectively.
During my visit to class , I saw that there were no cameras in the class as well as in the lift which is quite surprising. On further inquiry with my friend whose kid is in MYP , she stated that she is looking for another school because education quality is very poor and teacher's behaviour is very bad , teachers only favour few kids and behave differently with others

My kid studied here from nursery to class 4th but several times have come across teachers who favor only a certain class of students (not sure how they identify). Infact once when I raised this concern to the earlier Principal I was told the school is mainly for the affluent class and if I am not happy I may withdraw my child. Nothing has really changed since even with the new head and I have finally changed the school for my kid.
So please think about what you are really looking for. If you need a platform to flaunt your status and lure teachers based on this, then yes this is the school.
For people who know the Brahma builders son porsche accident drink n drive case killing two, that's the result of the spoilt brats from schools that are favoring and encouraging the affluent.

I have been a student of Vikhe Patil Memorial School for 12 years and have loved every minute of it. VPMS is the best school out there for the overall development and growth of a student - may it be in academics or in extra curriculars. On top of being one of the top schools in Pune, they also give a lot of importance on sports with a basketball court, volleyball court, skating rink, swimming pool, and a massive ground. They also have exchange programs with schools in France and Sweden. The staff here are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet and support you endlessly throughout your educational journey and further. I would never trade the amazing experiences I've had here for anything and I'm insanely proud to be an alumnus of the Vikhe Patil Memorial School.

The encouraging opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities, the numerous enlightening guest lectures and seminars, the informative field trips, fun-filled picnics, competitive sports days and inter-house contests and the collaborative platform for teamwork and individual growth I got to be a part of have been pivotal in my transformation into a confident and independent individual. The teachers here are friendly, approachable and inspirational. Additionally, the installation of "smart boards" fostered an immersive learning experience for us students.
