It's one of the most mismanaged, money minded schools in Bangalore. In April they took money from all parents for uniforms through some vendors. Even after 2.5 months, most of the orders are not delivered, the ones delivered are of horrible quality. The admin doesn't respond to queries. Basically the school collected it's commission from the vendors and now least bothered. This is the last year I am keeping my child here.

High Fees, Good Infrastructure, Most teachers (out of at least 10 there would be 7-8) who are ready to help and solve the problems of child. Even if they do not know how to teach properly. Principal, is a big pain in life. She neither understands, Nor tries to understand. Each day new rule, She will harass students to the core, my child has never complained about any teacher till now but since this new principal has come he daily comes to me feeling that she targets him and his friends. he also said that she almost slapped a few children and tells the children to make memes of parents! Is that a way to speak to children?! Ill mannered lady I will file police complaint against the school one day when my patience reaches its limits. I have spoken to some teachers and they have told me that the principal is burdening them too! This school was so good 1 year ago my son used to enjoy it but now each day is like a challenge for him as he comes home feeling drained.
If you want your child's childhood spoilt then send him/her to this school.

Schools fee is comparable to standard CBSE schools in Bangalore. But weakest factor of GCIS is bad Mathematics teaching and this was consistently seen this academic year from standard 1 to standard 10. Parents rely on external tuition or they spend a lot of time to compensate for it. If no action taken it may lead to migration of many kids in next 2 years

The school / management lacks some common sense and how to manage.
Multiple cases seen during school year
1. School uniform change notification by end of year.
2. Transportation or parent pick up co-ordinations
3. The app or communication to parents.
Don’t blindly fall on infra give you as mirage.

Schools are meant to equip children with life skills that they’ll need their whole life. GCIS has an elaborate curriculum, trained teachers who lead the class well and are approachable at all times, and a balance of academics with co-curricular activities. The student-teacher ratio is desirable because they allow more classroom activities, the teachers provide individual attention to the students. School-parent relationships work as complementary partnerships, parents can share recommendations and work closely with teachers to address certain concerns while school shares feedback on the child’s development and how parents can provide the additional support at home.
As a parent, I am highly satisfied with GCIS.
