Short Review: HDFC School is overhyped for the fees they charge. The school does not reflect the brand and quality of HDFC group. In short, the school promises more and delivers less. My son was in this school for 3+ years. So think twice before enrolling your kid in this school.
Detailed Review:
We took a decision to change the school for my son and took a transfer. He was in the middle of his third quarter. I have been paying the fees for the entire year every year since my son started in this school. This year too I had paid the fees for the entire year including transportation. Me and my wife requested the school to atleast refund the fees for the fourth quarter. To be fair, we were willing to let go the fees for the third quarter though it was not complete yet.
Inspite of repeated requests over phone, email and visiting the school, we neither got an appointment with the Principal Mrs Parvathy Seshadri nor the refund.
What I'm perplexed is that the same school takes mid year admissions and charges on pro rate basis for the incoming students. But the school has a policy to not refund the fees on pro rata basis to the outgoing students. Is this a fair practice? Yes, you may say all schools do this. But my question is where is ethics that is preached by HDFC group?
I didn't get any escalation point of contact from the school to reach out and raise this issue. Hence, I looked at the school website and reached out to Mrs. Anita Makkar and Mr. Keki Mistry over LinkedIn. I did not get any response.
The least I expected was a response and a willingness to look into the issue. That's all. It's not about the fees. It's about willingness to review policies which are unfair for parents. HDFC school could have been a change agent.

Beyond the classroom, the school emphasizes a holistic approach to education. Extracurricular activities play a significant role in the students' overall development. From sports to arts and cultural events, the school encourages students to explore their interests and talents. This emphasis on a well-rounded education prepares students for success not only academically but also in their personal and social lives.
The infrastructure of The HDFC School is modern and conducive to learning. Had visited school for admission enquiry. Very bad impression on first meet. They just talk about fee and judge whether person is capable for paying or not, based on that lady at front desk replies. When asked about curriculum details and other similar questions no proper response.

Hi Team,
I would like to point out the the passage to school is pathetic, when rain season we can not walk are drive by any vehicles in the street located this school. They are teaching children in social or science courses about environmental cleanliness and infrastructure near by the school campus, but i am not sure why they have so much lethargic about these issues to be fixed. I have been seeing this since three years, nothing has been changed and day by this becomes pathetic and dust pollution near the school. But while paying the fee they will fix the deadline, if not meets asking us to pay penalties. This is really ridicules,. When i ask the management they blame th BBMP, they want take any kind of responsibility on this.
Dear Parents, please think over and let raise this issue to Management till they fix these issues to help us our child's free from air pollution and get hurtled in front of the school road.

My son is currently studying in HDFC Bangalore in 1st grade and I am very dissapointed with the school management.. Firstly the management is not at all approachable and very rude. I regret getting my son's admission in this school.Without any formal communication they charge late fees from parents and on reporting and requesting them to wave off they blatantly refuse. Its a money making business for HDFC .We don't even get an appointment with the principal of the school for even a discussion..I would never recommend this school to anybody.. Highly unprofessional!!

Visited this school after a recommendation from friend and not disappointed at all. The staff are courteous and would walk you through the process and explain curriculum patiently.
A meeting with principal ma’am made me finalise on the school. The biggest positive is the principal who was one of the most down to earth person with a lot of positive energy. The way she answered all our questions while she interacted with my kid showed she genuinely liked this role. Location is about 1.5km from airport road and affordable fees. Lot of parking space available outside and ample fresh air for kids as the school is right behind the Jakkur lake.
