I must admit, a year back I was a little apprehensive to enroll my son in preschool. After much research on child development, me and wife decided to go ahead for an early start, just so that he can explore the world outside and hopefully have some fun.
We chose Alphabets, and I am pleased with the decision we made.
The teachers are fantastic, especially the way they care and interact with the kids. Currently in the toddler programme, our son enjoys attending the school everyday. I am very glad to see him cheerful, socializing with other kids of his class. He seems to enjoy the activities ( painting, crafts, games ) given at school.
Great programme for toddlers, it's just little over an hour a day. Five on five I would recommend.
Cheers.

Admission process experience - We were in the process of relocating back to Chennai ( from Europe), and had picked Alphabet as one of the potential schools we were interested in. My daughter who is currently in grade 1 ( part of british curriculum) was tested and interviewed for a potential admission into grade 2. The test/interview was supposed to be a full day affair wherein we had to leave her at the grade 1 class for the entire day. At the end of the day, we picked her up and met the principal who offered an admission for grade 1 again. Per the Principal, her maths skills were not at par with their own grade-2 level, as even their grade 1 students were doing addition in 3 digits. Also, the grade 1 students were already fluent in grammar principles - adjectives, adverbs etc. which my daughter hasn't been taught in her school yet. She did give credit to our daughter's reading skills. What was missing in her decision-making process is a consideration for my daughter's true potential to catch-up on the gap areas. Her potential would be that within a few months of joining grade 2, she would have caught up. As a parent, I have no doubt about this and was disappointed that they took the easy-route which for the child would mean a critical loss of 1 year. So much for the whole "IB Curriculum" - 3 other international schools did give us admission into grade 2 & offered special classes for her over the first 2 months to come up to speed.

worst environment. Founder, Ms.Kavitha saraf's partiality towards kids, money minded. lot of kids in single small room. No play ground, no extra activities, no field trip. waste of money and time for the kids.

I had visited this school recently as I wanted to admit my child here.
I really liked the look of the campus from outside but I was sorely disappointed when I went inside. Although the campus is air conditioned, and colorfully painted, the environment is closed and cramped. The rooms are small and over 300 children are crammed into a small campus. The stairways and doors, etc. don't seem to be designed in a child friendly way.
The curriculum that they follow is also non standard, they seem to be following a mix of different methods, but none of their staff possess any qualification, other than "years of experience" that makes them an authority in preschool curricula. Their class assignment is also rigid and based on a childs age rather than their mental maturity, interest and capability.
And lastly the attitude. In my brief interaction with Kavita Saraf, the founder, she came across as cold person with a huge stick up her behind. I would not trust someone who isn't warm and welcoming to groom my child in their tender formative years.

My kid loved it. I personally hated because of the biased attitude, now(2017) too many kids cramped in that small building. There are better school which gives you more respect for the money you pay..You will see the arrogant attitude of the owner once you enroll. Ask around and you will know. Teachers were excellent but i doubt many of them stayed back.. Fees 1Lakh++ ...
