I walked in to ask about admission n details. No manners at all. A lady was sitting there and she was giving me oral information per term so n so what else u want to know. There are parents who are not aware about montessori. I read montessori books but that doesn't mean i know the curriculum about montessori. A proper explanation about montessori curriculum was not given. She is asking what else information you want know and i had no idea what to ask i jus left. I had note down in my mobile note pad per term so n so fees and initial payment so n so. Unhappy to have come there.

Patasala's original Montessori flavor is long gone; completely I'd say. The vision is lost.
Let me talk about just one incident here, a very disheartening experience. At the time of enrollment, the school clearly set the standard of discouraging parents from any form of formal arts, which is just fine. A few months later, they communicate about some music sessions by "SaPa for Schools" and physical activity by "Little Spartans." Earlier, this was communicated only to parents who's kids are above 6. A few weeks later the school suggested this for parents who's kids are just 3. These come at additional cost. The worse part is that the school communicated that this will be done during regular school working hours. Isn't that insane? What on earth happened to the 3-hour Montessori work cycle? And, the children who opt out are made to stand out while the other children have their formal music session during regular school hours. How will they even feel about it? It will bring down their morale eventually.
When questioned these happenings, the management behaves arrogantly turning deaf ears to their queries. We are asked to email the school on these matters or they are told that these will be answered in future meetings.
There are a lot other instances that are very sad to speak about. But this one thing is enough to make parents understand that the school does not respect Montessori pedagogy anymore.

My son was with Patasala for about 2 years, Good teachers and well trained staffs. Most of his time was through online but could see good changes in my child during the last few months when he went offline. Safety, cleanliness top notch. Well trained teachers and excellent ambience.

Our son joined Patasala around April. Within few months his teachers have been have been able to build a strong rapport with him even though classes have been happening online.
The efforts taken by the school to make parents aware of the Montessori system and align all of us to create a better environment for the child is appreciated.
