We were treated badly at the entrance gate where not only students but parents are afraid to share info on getting admission run by old ladies same was the case with sister school chaitanya Vidyalaya. All parents want their children to get into best possible school. We continued to try hard to get admission for our daughter and guess what where she got admission Hyderabad Public School Begumpet. In Vidyaaranya we came to know no exams in the school until 7th class, How should one come to know where they stand.
Kapil Sharma Joke by gate keeper :-
"If we keep Vidyaaranya school board their will be lot of rush " Ha ha then do one thing as name suggest go to forest and open school their no one will come their.
Best of Luck to all old ladies in their intro ..

Paid 500INR for applcation and they need parent's phots and child's DOB at any case. If you do not have you have to
come back with all the required documents, no matter how far you travelled. They open exactly at 10:30 and close the application window at 12:00. After successful submission of application they will schedule parent's discussion with school authorities.
Surprisingly you will be given some token number and that physical token you have to drop in some box when you sit before
the interview crew. There are three old ladies are in crew and two of them disucssing with each other on national issues , not even addressed us. Other lady asked us to sit.
She started conversation with my wife ,asked personal information like name, job, company ,location. You should not involve until your turn comes, otherwise this old lady gets angry.
If wife and husband are employees , they might ask who will take care of child. They ask these question like working couple are runing indian culture and society. I said few words which I read great about school, this lady replied I have to confirm that information with those websites who posted that information. This is kind of proud humbleness.
Finally I wanted to say , dont waste your time for this school. There are lot of schools you can find better than this. These guys are not magicians, they cannot do miracles to your kids. In that matter, no body can do miracles to your kids except you. Dont fall for their gimmics of no uniform, no school board, no electronic devices. No need to degrade yourself before these fellows.

In our society, we often assess individuals based on their wealth, status, and position. The constant pursuit of social approval has made us oblivious to the growing unhappiness and antisocial behavior around us. It's crucial for our children to embrace authenticity, non-judgmental attitudes, and a focus on genuine learning rather than being caught up in the relentless pursuit of wealth. The school we are part of fosters an environment where children can flourish with their individuality, promoting values of respect and tolerance. As parents, we've also gained valuable insights and lessons through our association with this school.

The school's admin department is very very rude and egoistic. When i contacted for my child's nursery admission they rudely said that if both parents doesnt come then they cannot give admission. This fact is irrelevant for a child's admission., even if father/mother is well educated for admission purpose they should consider it. In admission process only they are creating so many hurdles then we can easily imagine what moral values and education they will give to children. They are considering Family background and income of parents for a child's admission instead of child's knowledge and ability. And then they think that they are the top one in Hyderabad. I would have given ratings in minus, if available and possible.

If you notice, most of the 1 star reviews will be from parents who tried admission for their kids and didn't get through. The interview process will sound rude. The teachers and management are clear what they stand for and it is their discretion as to who gets admitted and who doesn't.
We tried for my kid when he was in UKG, but did not get through. Again we tried when he was in 5th grade. We had a long 2hr interview ourselves. We were initially disappointed, but glad we got another chance. There are no exams for the kids. There is no comparisons between kids. They don't encourage competition.
My kid is very independent and I find all his friends from school are also similar.
They emphasize holistic education. They don't use any advanced gadgetry to teach. Their activities are down to Earth. All projects demand that kids reuse materials, there is no demand for new things to buy. There are excursions to some arts and crafts that are losing their place in society.
Since they have limited seats in a class they have to reject many applications. And it will be frustrating to parents.

We attended the Interview in their school and one of the lady Interviewer was extremely rude, arrogant, totally impolite in the way she asked the questions to us and the way she replied to the questions we asked her.
Now what is the basis of their Admission ? Their Traditional Methodology of teaching just doesn’t imply that they just have to be rude, arrogant and impolite while taking an interview and the most disgusting thing is they do it in front of your child itself.
Their interview questions are like this ie., they ask typical questions to the parent like the list of the schools and colleges both the parents studied including the spellings and the companies they work. Agreed the school is small and they have only 2 sections with a strength of around 20 to 25 max (that too the committee decides how many children should be there in each section). Hence the admission vacancy is available only when any child withdraws and that too it will be notified only in the month of June. In such a case the committee/management should put up a vacancy in the month of June itself and then select the children whoever wants to get admitted basing on their pseudo or so called pretended criteria which they even do not understand or know properly. At the time of filling the application they make us write all the details of the parents including taking their color photographs, so in that only they can all ask all this rubbish and based on that they should call the parents whom they feel fit into the admission criteria. They should not be wasting the precious time of parents and insult them with their rude behavior, talking impolitely in the front of the child during the interview.
They asked us as to why are we shifting the school for the child then we said it is because that we heard about the stress free curriculum at their school for which the lady answered that we teach with a blackboard and a chalk piece (ridiculously arrogant). Later She said any questions that we wanted to know about the school, then we asked can u brief about your school, the curriculum etc then she replied that they follow the curriculum given that’s all, there will be no extra curriculum activities etc. They just follow the books and they do not have time for other things at all. This traditional school doesn’t knows that all study and not play makes Jack a dull boy . Notably their website does not have any details of their curriculum at all. So how the hell the parents know what they teach ???
Whatever might be their methodology, style of teaching or curriculum or the admission criteria. They should mandatorily talk politely to the parents not being arrogant. This is what is expected of any human being who is educated.
1. If this is the case how are they teaching the children in the school ???
2. Is talking impolitely, arrogantly, ridiculously in a sarcastic way part of their curriculum or teaching methodology ?
3. If they are not interested in giving admission they should not even call the parents for interview or they can simply say we would get back to you only when there is a vacancy.
4. This is high time their committee should inspect how the interviewers are taking the interviews of the parents. This is not acceptable especially in front of small children at all.
5. They make the parents feel that they are idiots of first order who have come craving to their school for admission.
6. Or may be for Just Rs 500 admission fees they call on for applications.
Vidyaranya School was established in the Year 1961 by Mrs Shanta Rameshwar Rao. If you go and see in their website they say the school was established with an objective of making it a happy place to learn and happy learning which happens when the learner is eager to learn – blah blah blah. It might have been a good school when the founder was there but not sure it is now as on date.
Parents give a good thought; Do not waste Rs 500 and your time for such school. Your child deserves better environment.

On what basis they didn't give us a seat in the school is a big mystery. When we saw the list of students who got selected, it seems like they selected all the North Indians and we did not find a single South Indian name. When we asked them for a justification, they said based on the interview held. But the interview questions were, in which kind of schools did me and my husband study, which kind of colleages and how much did we earn and what were our qualifications. Not a single question was asked to my child. Your child might be brilliant, but if your social status is not to their level, then you can never get a seat in this school.

We decided to take our child after one year of continuation. They are biased, arogant, rude, totally unpolite. Teachers and their leader all generalize everything, do not listen to concerns and problems. They do not adopt to change based on current situation. Raising a concern, speaking up or putting forward your insights are all arguments for them,
Methodolgies of teaching is just traditional. They say they focouse on making base strong, becareful they talk rude infront of your child too. Their interview portion is more interesting they give parent feel like you are sitting for IAS interview to crack for primary class addmission. Old school for sure it was good but now its just disgusting do not listen to parents, not open minded. I remeber in one of PTM one mother asked a question if class can have a whats group for updates and stay connected, response from management we do not encourge WA group for making birthday party celebration platform. Seriously, to them parents seems joke, this was a joke. Take a pause and investigate more before you go for it. Your wrong decision will have impact on child. Choice is yours.
Good luck!

We attended an interview with this school. The interviewer was extremely rude and arrogant. We referred to the website and the methodology and great things mentioned in the website to which the interviewer said that we don't have extra curricular activities, we are not an open school that has a great relationship with students and we are not what you expect from that website. So why is it that that website is linked to your Google link and why have you allowed your alumni to create a website on your behalf??????

Agree, the school is in the heart of the city, has a very good playground, nice atmosphere and a very good teaching practise. But what is the eligibility criteria for the kids to get admission, on what basis so the management decide.
We have been thrice there to get admission (twice for elder one for PP1 and 1st standard and once for younger one for PP1), but haven't heard from them not even once.
I've heard this from many other parents who've give there for the admissions of their kids and all the parents were from different backgrounds (like businessmen, IT professionals, govt. employees etc.).
So my recommendation for the school management is to clearly mention what kind of parents background is needed if they want to join their kids in their school. Because I'm sure, the eligibility of the kids admission doesn't depend on himself for PP1. It was a waste of time all the three times!
