With a diverse student body of over 2500 from Nursery to Class 12, including an ISC Junior College for Classes 11 and 12, Bethany High provides a comprehensive educational experience. They also extend their care to boarders with Bethany Integrated Home and cater to children with special needs through Bethany Special School.

Founded in 1963 by Mrs. Mignon David, Bethany High carries a legacy symbolized by its green and black colors. The motto, "Trust and Obey," is deeply ingrained in the school's culture.

Bethany High follows the ICSE curriculum until Class 10, offering a variety of subjects. In Classes 11 and 12, students can choose from Science, Commerce, or Arts streams, with a wide array of subjects to cater to diverse interests. The academic year runs from June to March, culminating in ICSE and ISC Board Examinations for Class 10 and 12, respectively. Additionally, Bethany High expanded to a new campus on Sarjapura Road, inaugurated by Sumitra Kulkarni, Mahatma Gandhi's granddaughter, in 2013.

Admission Process of Bethany High School

The applications for the admissions for Pre Nursery are available from the month of December. Due to the large inflow of applications and the rapidly changing nature of technology, the Bethany admission application process is completely online. The school doesn’t issue physical application forms as they use to before.

The process of shortlisting of the students begins in the first week of January for Pre Nursery. This process is conducted by a special admissions committee at Bethany High, which takes into consideration a set of 15 criterias, a few of them being the age of the student, whether the child applying for admissions have siblings in the school, If their parents or relatives were the alumnus of the school, proximity of the school from the student’s house, etc.

The selection process also involves a meeting with the parents of the students applying for admissions to understand their children better. Our shortlisting process is not biased in any way and doesn’t discriminate between sex, caste or creed. There are no tests conducted for our primary applicants as a part of the admissions process.

Children applying for other classes excluding primary classes are selected primarily on vacancy of a seat. The admission process for seats against vacancies begin during the month of April. In order to maintain and give your child concentrated individual attention, our classroom size limits itself to only 35 students.

Admissions for Junior College (classes XI and XII) open during the month of April. Applicants for the Junior College are interviewed before the standard X board results are out and are granted admissions totally on merit.

Junior college applicants can choose from 3 streams of specializations which are Science, Commerce and Arts.

The best you can ever give to your child! . The school gives the child confidence and secure them , ability to think on their own, holistic growth spirituality, academics and sports. My little one loves HSR Bethany , the teachers and loving, patient and kind, they harness best in the child, treat them unique and handle them with love. Hod Shanti mam is the best . My teenagers joined Bethany in 2023 after 10 years in an alternative school environment. We were all apprehensive about how they would adjust to a more mainstream atmosphere (with uniforms and mostly in-classroom study etc). I have to say the school went way out of its way to make sure the children had the time and pace to adjust. Both my children adjusted at difference paces and the teachers, management, and other staff made the environment conducive for that. I am extremely grateful for the support the children received from their teacher and the high school HOD. I honestly couldn't have asked for more. Apart from academics, I found their drama, music and art programs excellent. It really gets the kids excited and engaged. Also the opportunity to take part in the musical the school hosts every year is a thing the children look forward to. Toilets are largely well maintained. Canteen and tuck shop food is better than most of us had during our school days. Other facilities are maintained and the school looks brisk and alive. The director, principal and PRO are extremely approachable, patient and work with you to deliver the best outcomes for your child. The high school teachers have a wealth of teaching experience and hence are well loved even by new joiners who may not know them well. I honestly have no complaints!

I find Bethany School Koramangala to be very conducive environment for children and help in holistic development. Teachers at Bethany are considerate towards Children, provide enough support for the child's growth, induce good moral values and never put unnecessary pressure on children. While the children are expected to be discipled and have good moral values, they are not put undue pressure academically and are allowed to blossom at their pace with guidance and support.

Am glad we took a decision to put my daughter in Bethany. Have had a good experience with the teachers and staff, right from my first experience with the always smiling and helpful guard at the gate. Great extracurriculars and seen very paced school work with the focus on the child.

I was on the lookout for a really good school in Bangalore, a place that would help in the all round development of my child and after consulting with a number of people decided to send my son to Bethany. My son was a pandemic child who didn't know even how to hold a pencil and wouldn't look at people in the eye. Within a span of 2 years he's this kid who confidently speaks to strangers, writes beautiful cursive and loves reading books. Do I need to say more about how good this school is? He loves his teachers Rimple ma'am, Rekha ma'am (Nursery) and Rita ma'am(Jr. 1). All the children get to perform on sports day and talent day. They all get to take part in choral recitation every year as a group. They know and love all the teachers and the staff. Every single morning the kids are greeted by the manager Mr. Sreedhar who gives them all fist bumps, and the HoD Mrs. Smitha Oomen. I feel that my child is known, appreciated as an individual and taken good care of. Thanks to Bethany, my child loves learning. The school doesn't overburden the kids with homework or examinations. Whatever has to be taught they teach them in their classes. As a working parent that is such a blessing.The learning lab at Bethany deserves special mention too. Any other school would have labeled my son lazy or incompetent when he was struggling to write. His teachers and the learning lab slowly and surely helped him find his away, with no fuss, no feeling that he was lesser in any way. They reassured us that he just needed a little help and within a short time he was writing beautifully. I have found the dream school, as a parent!!

Both my kids are Koramangala Bethanites. USP of the school is, the focus on all round development (other than studies sports, art, music and drama) of the child to produce responsible citizen to the society. Excellent teaching, friendly teachers and individual attention given to students. More than anything programs like LEAP, for those who have challenges in learning, by giving equal opportunity to everyone for learning. BSO program provides opportunity to groom individuals as future leaders.

Our association with Bethany High is now 20 years, and both our children did their schooling at this wonderful institution. I would like to recognize the support from the teaching staff of the middle school, especially during the past academic year, which has enabled my younger son to do well in his academics.
