As a parent, it's natural to want the best for your child. My kid attended Christ CBSE School for three years starting from 1st standard. I was thrilled about the bright future. My kid was always full of energy and was incredibly smart, just like any other parent would think about their child. However, the experience at Christ CBSE School left me heartbroken and horrified. Let me start with the positives. The school has an excellent reputation, a great campus, a good playground, is CBSE-affiliated, and has affordable fees. However, the negatives outweighed the positives. Firstly, the school's language proficiency is not up to par, which could potentially hinder a child's education. Secondly, the teachers at the school tend to sideline students based on various criteria, which can lead to a lack of opportunities. The school teachers also has an issue with bullying that is not adequately monitored, which can lead to negative consequences for students. Additionally, the constant belittling of children has an adverse effect on their self-confidence. Teachers at Christ CBSE School tend to discriminate against students who do not have good handwriting or those who cannot complete tasks in a given timeframe. This approach is not conducive to a healthy learning environment and should not be tolerated. However, what was most concerning to me was the teachers' tendency to physically punish students. Slapping a child on the face is not an acceptable form of punishment, yet it happened multiple times for my 8 year old kid. When my kid told me about the first incident, I did not take it seriously, assuming that it was just a minor disciplinary action. However, when it happened again, we became worried and enquired with other parents. To our shock, this was a common practice among the teachers. On one occasion, my kid was humiliated and reduced to tears after a teacher slapped him for colouring a picture in the question paper. The teacher did not even tell him to stop before resorting to physical punishment. We confronted the teachers, but their defense was weak, and they seemed to think that their actions were justified. To a shock their response to us was aggressive. It became clear to us that this was a cultural problem within the school, and we made the decision to transfer the kid to another institution. I hope my experience can serve as a cautionary tale to parents looking to enroll their children at Christ CBSE School. While your experience may be different, I would not recommend this school based on my own experience. As a parent, it's our responsibility to protect our children, and prep them up with better behavioral and life skills. physical punishment should never be a part of any school's disciplinary measures.

A wonderful school that imparts value based education and focuses on the holistic development of a child. There are ample opportunities for students to explore different interests and to excel in their talents.

Dear dance team at Christ school ICSE, appreciate your effort to train the kids for the performances but it's not worth your effort. Utterly disappointed not just with the dance performance of my kid but also the arrangements and every bit of the event. Let me bring it to your notice here (because I have to wait for a parents meeting or for a not so interested or ignorant replies on WhatsApp). These comments are purely mine and the kid never ever complain anything about the teachers or even aware of these. 1. The dance practice that went on for days and even on weekends (with just snacks). They are too young to have the energy without food. 2. Paid an hefty amount for the "blink of an eye" perfomance of our kid. 3. Yes, the stage was big but putting more than 100 students in a dance and crowding the stage. By the time we could recognise our kid to record the performance (the stage was way too far from the place where we seated) the kid is done with the pose (Oops! it was the performance) for which the kid had to practice for days extending after the school hours. 4. Okay we couldn't record I understand as there were cameras hired from the school to capture but in that too the kid isn't seen. 5. Making the kids come by afternoon all dressed up with just snacks for a dance performance at 7.30 pm. The dance performance was over but yet didn't let the parents take the kids back as you will not have the audience till the end of the event. What kind of a heartless people are you. 6. Annual day performance is once in a lifetime for any student. But spending so much of time, energy, effort, money and no memory to cherish with a photo or a video. 7. Snacks - amount was charged from the parents but what a pathetic package (handmade). 8. 9. We tolerated all these just for that happiness on the kid's face because the kid isn't aware that there is no pic or video of the blink of an eye perfomance. Yes, the Christ school that we all dreamt of being part of as kids is not the same now. This is not just to defame the school but facts.
