I studied in this school several years ago. It is next only to hell with terrible, insensitive teachers. Please don’t take this as the rantings of a disgruntled student. Over the years, I have contacted several alumni and have heard similar horror stories.
The teachers use verbal abuse and even physical means such as slapping to get their way.
Jacintha Mathew, Sumitra Bagchi, Sharmila Datta are some of the worst ones. I have fallen prey to the cruel treatment meted out by them.
Not just me. Several students have reported that their self esteem has taken a severe toll due to these so called “caretakers of education and learning.”
I think these teachers are still members of the staff in NPS.
Please do not enroll a piece of your heart here.
The mind of a child is innocent and tender. The behavior of such teachers causes a deep impact on one’s self-respect and personality, which takes several years of therapy and introspection to heal.
The school is certainly not worth it. There are far far better schools in Bangalore.

NPS Indiranagar, failed on 3 counts -
1. On 14 Jan 2023, when they conducted the entrance exam from Classes 2 to Class 10, prospective candidates nor parents, were informed that everyone should enter through the Sai Darshan road entrance as the School is spread between 2 roads. All anxious parents and students were made to run around, like in the Railway station, if the announcement, is made about a change in the platform - Not well organized or thought of the plan.
2. On the website or email or sms, no information had been provided, so far, about the entrance exam results or candidates who were selected. No realistic expectations were set - only Vague, Endless wait. Is it lottery or what? Its high time, they change at least for Academic year 2024-2025. No Corporate Social Responsibility nor Value for Ethics and Principles. Whatever position, the principal or founder are IN, it's all because of Society and they should reciprocate the faith and trust in kind.
Even the Birla Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Technology, and the University of Massachusetts send out Selection letters or Regret letters, informing the outcome of the entrance exam after due diligence of the Selection procedure.
Except getting a royalty from Franchisees by posting Dr.KP.Gopalakrishnan's photo, in every nook and corner of Bangalore, I didn't find any worth in the School Ethics, Selection procedures, transparency, or integrity. What would they inculcate and impart, when they themselves are deficient of ethics?
They are not feeling accountable for the Rs600 School brochure and an Application form that parents and students have bought from them and NPS Indiranagar are not safeguarding nor deserving of the trust set on them. This callous and negligent treatment of prospective applicants will surely affect NPS Indiranagar's brand image in the short and long run.
3. Any emails to Smt.Shanta. V.P(Principal of National Public School Indiranagar) Smt. Santha Gopalakrishna(Founder Director) nor Smt.Bindu Hari (the Academic head of NPS group), will not receive any response or accountability. It's like email hits a Vacuum and eternal, perennial silence. They are NOT realising that Society made them in whatever position they are in and they are socially responsible to revert. No Grievance Redressals are addressed as such.
Hope they make amends to their Esoteric, Cult-like approach at least for admissions for Academic Year 2024 to 2025.

We are a part of SSRVM, JP Nagar for 5 years now. In 2019,when we were about to shift from Germany to Bengaluru, the biggest concern was searching an appropriate school for our girl. Many of the school websites said 'We prepare your child to excel in this competitive world' etc. But we were looking for a school which didn't emphasize merely rat race! After some research we decided for SSRVM and got our child admitted here. The school is very particular about what it says: 'Broaden the vision..deepen the roots'. They conduct regular yoga,
shloka and intuition sessions on a weekly basis, which I believe are very essential for one's well-being in this modern world. A right balance between academics and moral and cultural values is maintained here. What appealed to us is that there isn't a lot of pressure when it comes to homework and assignments. Teachers are really kind. Every month there will be one or two competitions/events for which parents need to prepare the child, which sometimes may seem hectic. Annual day will be celebrated in 'one of its kind' way. Can't think of other schools in Bengaluru considering mythological stories for the annual day functions. Conceptualizing it and unfurling it on the stage through students in such an efficient manner is not an easy task. The communication between the school and parents should be lot more better we feel. Overall what I can say is, if you want your child to imbibe the essence of our culrure and tradition, please do consider this school.

This is not a good school and not fit for single star too, just they named as SSRVM, there is no ethics and no discipline as Guruji. School doesn't have an own ground and if the kids want to play they will take to some other ground which is very far go to and play.
This school has very bad hygienic, school bathrooms dirty and like public toilets, no one is cleaning and if kids wants to go for bathroom they will close their nose with napkin, it is too difficult to go. Initially I felt that I have taken good decision to joined my daughter for a very good school but later I realized its worst school.
There is lot of partiality between the Teacher kids and the other kids who are in the same class from teacher and very negligence from the teacher. I spoiled two years for my kid here and now I have realised and changed the school.
And the worst thing is my daughter started hating Sanskrit subject, the person who is teaching Sanskrit Mr. Nagabhaskar is very aggressive and too much head weight. He is not giving notes if the kid is absent and if the kid asks next day, he will start scolding without a reason. He don’t know how to react with small kids, because of his behaviour my daughter start hating Sanskrit subject. He is using very vulgar languages to kids.
If you inform regarding these issues with the management they are not taking care and not responding too.

School has very good teachers and non teaching staffs and I am so happy the way my kid who is in 2nd grade learning things and developing day by day .
Events conducted on regular basis help showcase kids abilities making them independent and nurturing their growth into confident students.
No doubt Presidency school is really good when it comes to academics and we have witnessed how the kids in my daughter’s class had grown over these years.
Extra curricular activities also are given much importance and has varieties for kids to choose from dance, singing to yoga and other activities.
Transport facility when the school reopened after covid was in bad shape but over the period the hiccups reduced and we are satisfied now with the transport and staff.
Play ground is one area of concern which needs some attention.
Overall we are very happy with Presidency and it is one of the best schools in the town.

My daughter is studying in PSBS since 2016. We are very glad about school’s excellent academics and co- curricular activities. Teachers of are well able to handle the students in primary, middle or high school. School keeps improvising the teaching methodology.
Teachers engaged kids into different activities apart from curriculum and keep their mind up during difficult times.
Thanks to principal and teachers for your patience and excellent support for all kids.
The only concern from my side is that they need to improve the infrastructure during rainy days and there is an improvement area in school kid’s transport.

PSBS has truly been a second home. Back when I was young and would hear the phrase of school being a second home, I’d think to myself why anyone would want to spend time at their school or how anyone could make joy out of the time spent.
Now, I’m in 12th Grade and can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia already. A part of me realizes that I’ll be soon graduating and leaving this home of mine behind.
Joining PSBS back in 8th grade was the best decision I could’ve taken. Not just making friends and countless memories, but learning all the while. PSBS provides unparalleled opportunities: with ever-supportive teachers and countless opportunities to explore what one would want to.
PSBS is what one would want to make out of it: from the entirely student organized fest to exploring the countless competitions and events, to PSBS’ very own TEDx event. PSBS provides its students with the very best of resources, opportunities, access to a world of possibilities and freedom to explore it all.
I speak from personal experiences. From being one of the lead organizers of Illuminance, PSBS’ annual fest to recently licensing PSBS’ very own TEDx event, I can say that this school supports you unlike any other. Nurturing the talents in you and harboring the skills you’d need succeed in the real life is what PSBS does.
PSBS is what you make of: from the school staff that is always present to support you, to a principal who is always there to bring up your ideas and nurture them into reality, PSBS has it all.

I am very satisfied with Presidency school. My son has been studying in the school from Pre-KG, he is in grade 5 now (8th year running). So I have enough experience to speak about the school.
Roads leading to the school is narrow, which causes some congestion during school hours. There is a big drain next to the school. These are limitations outside of the school & things which are not in schools control.
But whatever is inside the school is very good. Teachers are very good (Most important aspect of a school). They take good care of the students. Course content is good. Teachers do take note of the feedback we provided in PTM. There is also a good mix of co-curriculum activity, sports etc. Annual day functions are also done in a very nice way.
School fees though little high, it’s not exorbitant.
Many negative reviews are written by parents whose kids are there in the school for 1-2 years. They got disappointed by seeing the bad condition of the playground due to excessive rain. I believe this will be sorted in coming days.
Over all I am very satisfied with the school.

I don't know what to incur from this, but Arrogant word doesn't even come closer and definitely not something which I want my kid to learn.
Hence i decided to go for other school.
*****
I was planning for explore option of getting my kid admission for Grade1. But their adimission pocess is very unfair. They start admissions mid March with finaization of applicant by April. Most of other schoold close admission by March.
So parent are at fix as they have to keep plan B which will be to pay school fee for other backup whch is very costly in that area.
SO, to get admission to this school parents end up paying school fee for plan B school and This school.
Not sure what is intention of doing this by Mallya school, but its very unfair with aspiring parents specially adds lot of Financial burden.

In addition to CBSE, this school offers Cambridge Assessment International Education as a medium to study under the Cambridge curriculum. I have enrolled my daughter in this course and I see a tremendous change in her learning experience from a regular CBSE curriculum. She has done her primary from CBSE before changing to CAIE in Grade 6 This curriculum takes a more hands on approach to learning..The children learn the concepts thru classroom sessions, projects, assignments, research etc..This ensures that concepts are absorbed and learnt with interest. There is no memorizing of answers or rote learning . The teachers at Nagarjuna's Cambridge curriculum ensure that children have a great learning experience and follow the system as prescribed by Cambridge. My daughter enjoys going to school and learning here. Everyday is a new learning experience for her. Her teachers make school and the process of education a fun filled and engaging experience for her. I would recommend this school and board to parents looking for different method of learning for their children.

My sons enjoyed their stay and time in school (Early Years) - they look forward to going to school everyday and sometimes even on weekends and holidays (as they do not keep track of the days) =)).
That, i believe speaks volumes about their experience and i am very thankful for that peace of mind.
I do believe the school is on the right track on adopting a holistic and enjoyable learning environment for children. I have perceived that there is a conscious and concerted effort by all the faculty staff in nurturing each child to their fullest potential.
I would like to give a special mention to Ms Susan Raphael in taking extra care and consideration in shaping the behaviour of my elder son. The difference in his behaviour from day one to-date has been markedly progressive and positive. Her patience and dedication shows. My son will definitely miss her guidance and it would be challenging to find another similar teacher as her in our next country of residence.
We also want to give thanks to Ms Rekha, Mr Pihlblad, Ms Ashwini and other teachers within his circle, for their patient caring for Tobias. All of them worked together to give a wholesome and holistic learning environment.
As for my younger boy, we would also like to mention our deep appreciation to Ms Saira Fernandes in taking good care of him and ensuring an enjoyable daily learning experience at school.
We will certainly miss the good times and wholesome social circle the school offers. Our sons will miss their friends and their kind teachers. However, there are work priorities and off to the next destination we must go.
Wishing all staff and faculty well in their mission in nurturing the young. We will definitely come back to CISB again should we return to BLR.

CIS is nothing but called as Christians International Schools. Majority of the faculties are Christians and only you can see Hindus in supporting staff team. The main eligibility criteria to get shortlist in CIS is 1. Must be Christian 2. Must be Malayali. 3. Promote Christianity to Hindus.
The institution is converted into church to convert people from hinduism to Christianity as heard from the local hindu faculties and staff. The management should intervene in oversee the selection process by the HR Manager.

I have studied in this school for over two years and the facilities shown are just a facade I don’t know how much things have changed now. First of all starting with boarding itself never listened to the boarders, the boarding parents listened to the students conversations and there’s literally zero privacy, The head of school who hadn’t even spent a day in boarding was the head of boarding as well and made rules that did not make sense, the students were never listened to there were Wi-Fi outages the food was horrible and even when the students did try and enjoy themselves in boarding there was always a problem that the boarding parents had, there were rules like no eating in the common spaces and more I can go on and go but all these rules were made just to make mentally drain the students, as a school it was still okay but would never recommend the boarding to anyone. The head of school should’ve actually stayed in the boarding rooms under those many rules, Wi-Fi restrictions and horrible food and bad hygiene to actually see what the boarders went through.

the school has no idea how to conduct an examination. they made the 20 or so students who came to write the SAT wait outside for 3 hours on exam day and then finally announced the exam was cancelled. Their grounds for cancelling it was that a covid test was required ALTHOUGH it is not in the college board requirements or was told to students when the students called the school before hand. All the receptionists said a test wasnt required. 0/5

School has a vey good infrastructure with classrooms, grounds and cafeterias. They have boarding students as well as day scholars.
It is located approximately three km from the main road. Some uber drivers find difficulty to locate. If you don't have your own vehicle or school transport it is difficult to reach the school. Area is very isolated so it is not safe to walk in the late evening.
