Chettinad Vidyashram is a long cherished dream of Dr.Mrs.Meena Muthiah, whose vision was to start an educational institution combining the virtues of art and culture, which will endeavour to raise the integrated child who is not dwarfed by consideration of caste, creed or community.

Avoid putting your child in this school! They are very money-minded, the infrastructure is very bad (in spite of getting huge donations from every student), very bad student culture (the students who study here are typical rowdies who think they own the world just because they study in CV. I recommend all parents who care for their child’s future to remove them from this school immediately!

For a school with great reputation, it is just a shame that they operate primarily on recommendations and donations. Well that is still not a problem until education and values are instilled in minds of the students. What appalls me is lack of value system in the management and admissions committee. My children were admitted in the middle of a school year and without a transfer certificate. The highlight being that my children have done their complete schooling in Karnataka and my 6th grader has been admitted with Tamil as a third language. Where is the value system which prioritizes the mental stability of students. Yes, I am in the middle of a divorce and my children were abducted from my home to add on. My email to the management has not seen the light of day. This is just a caution to parents. We are in an age where EQ matters more than IQ. This school is all set to damage both just for money.
