The Pinnacle School started out in 1958 as Tiny Tots School, a small kindergarten and nursery school in Defence Colony, South Delhi. It was established by Mrs. Babs Noronha, the war widow of Wing Commander S. B. Noronha, Indias first recipient of the Maha Vir Chakra gallantry award. By 1963, the school had 100 students including an international community drawn from 28 nationalities. By 1967, the school had expanded to the Junior level with 400 students and a staff of 30. It had now re-located to buildings in Greater Kailash and Link Road and was known as Junior & Tiny Tots. After Mrs. Noronhas demise in 1993, the school has been managed by her daughter Ms. Gail DeMonte, an educationist who was also the schools first student! She has a Masters in Literature and completed her B.A. from St. Bedes, Shimla and Bachelor of Education from Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow.Administrative & Finance functions are managed by Wg Cdr Rae DeMonte (Retd.), a decorated fighter pilot and helicopter pilot, who served in the Indian Air Force. It is now relocated in Panchsheel Enclave, New Delhi and is fully equipped with modern teaching aids, technology and equipment. It is recognized by the Directorate of Education, NCT of Delhi and affiliated to CBSE, Delhi up to Class XII.Having been upgraded to teach the Secondary level, it was felt that an aspirational name was necessary to reflect its new status, and one which reflected the vision of its Founder. The Pinnacle School was thus born. In 2006 it became a Senior Secondary School, and now offers a full educational experience for all school children. On its Silver Jubilee in 1983, the late Prime Minister of India, Shrimati Indira Gandhi, sent this message to the school: Children are our future and they deserve the best that society can offer. Delhi has seen the growth of many schools for small children. It must be ensured that these lay firm foundations for the building of character and of sensitive and socially conscious citizens. The relevance of this message still lingers. The Pinnacle School continues to be a leading educational institution of its kind in India, setting standards of quality in value-based education.

Over the past 15 years of studying at this school, I have seen some changes, but it still falls short in providing a conducive environment for other students. While there are a few teachers like Anita Batra and Madhuri Mam who have left a positive impact on my heart with their dedication and teaching, the overall facility at the school remains lacking.
One of the primary concerns is the lack of diverse extracurricular activities. Currently, the school only offers basketball and volleyball, leaving little room for students with different interests to explore and excel in other areas. Additionally, the school's fee structure is relatively high, but the facilities provided do not match the cost, making it seem like students are not getting value for their investment.
Another significant issue is the poor maintenance of the school's infrastructure. From fans falling off in classrooms to malfunctioning ACs on the terrace, it raises serious safety concerns. The lack of proper equipment, like badminton rackets and shuttlecocks, adds to the dissatisfaction of students who wish to engage in sports during their free time.
