Durgabai Deshmukh Mahila Sabha (formerly Andhra Mahila Sabha) -P Obul Reddy Public School is a Co-Educational school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), running classes from LKG to XII.The school is named after the two eminent founding members vis-à-vis Late Padma Vibhushan Dr.(Smt)Durgabai Deshmukh, a public activist for women's emancipation, and Shri Obul Reddy, an industrialist, philanthropist and patron of the arts, who have been uplifting the cause of education in the society.

The school opened its portals to education in the year 1989 and this year has completed 30 glorious years of its existence. The quality education imparted since its inception has been instrumental in earning brand value to the name DDMS P Obul Reddy Public School. It is one of the units functioning under Durgabai Deshmukh Mahila Sabha which is reputed NGO founded by Late Padma Vibhushan Dr.(Smt)Durgabai Deshmukh in the year 1937.The organization is involved in several Social Service activities like women upliftment, Education, rehabilitation of variously disabled children, health, homes for the aged etc.Children coming from poor economic background with merit are given financial assistance in the form of freeship, free transport, school uniform and books. We have a student strength of 2950 under the tutelage of about 120 trained and qualified teachers.The school has modern laboratories for conducting practical classes in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Home Science and Computers. It has well stocked libraries with excellent reading rooms. A state-of-art SPORTS COMPLEX provides facilities for games such as Basketball, Volley ball, Throw ball, Tennis and Cricket net practising pitch. An amphitheatre for spectators is annexed to the Basket Ball court.Two spacious Auditoriums are provided for co-curricular and extra curricular activities. Class rooms are provided with Audiovisual aids that make learning easy through Smart Boards.An indoor sports complex and multipurpose hall have recently been added to the infrastructure thus keeping in sync with the school’s philosophy of providing contemporary education.The results of the school have been consistently commendable over the past three decades. The students achieve 100% pass result, most of the students qualifying with distinction and above 60% marks in the board exams conducted by CBSE for classes X and XII.With a 360o approach and holistic educational pedagogy, the students excel equally well in co-curricular and extra curricular activities. The students bring laurels and accolades in academics and sports every year.DDMS P. very unprofessional and inconsiderate managment. i had called them for admission enquiry and they asked me to send my marksheet to them and i did and they were like wait so i asked them till when can i expect a response back they were like even students who scored more than you are waiting for us in a very rude tone. and also they keep switching one time they say that admissions are open the next time they ask to send the marksheet and tell us that admissions are open till june and all

I was in porps for 12 academic years ,it's one of the best schools in Hyderabad. It has all facilities like auditorium, sports complex,labs ,neat classroom and buildings . Lots of importance is given to extracurricular activities like sports ,music and dance as well . The teachers here are very friendly and helpful,they teach well . The staff are also cooperative. They have buses available as well . I miss the time me and my friends spent in the school ,it's the best school ever

The worst school ever. Only good image. No good facilities for sports and no equipment present and discrimination based on gender. Only amazing on the outside. No opportunities for students. Not worth the hype.

This school is only for namesake disciplined. The atmosphere and infrastructure is waste. The washrooms are not clean. What they portray outside is no the truth. I hate this school. The school is not providing anything. The canteen doesnt have good food. I would not recommend this school to anyone there are no trips or any extracurricular activities. They cancelled all of clubs in middle of the year

This is 3rd school for my kid. Better than previous ones. The school is academically oriented and gives good exposure in extra curriculars.
