Mahindra International School works directly with families on the admissions process. While we do understand that a relocation agent may be supporting you in your transition to Pune and in finding the best school for your children, it is important that all applications and communication are received directly from the family and not through any third party.
All admissions to Mahindra International School are on first come first served basis. The admission procedure for the new school year begins in the month of January and you are advised to contact the school admissions office as early as possible.
Students come to the Mahindra International School from many different countries, differing school calendars and age-cut off dates. After careful consideration of an applicant’s age, school records, and academic history, students are placed with consideration given to the school’s curriculum, standards, and expectations, as well as performance on any diagnostic test the school may wish to administer.
Applicants from countries whose school year calendar finishes during December-March (ie. Southern Hemisphere, Japan and Korea) will continue for an additional semester in the grade most recently completed. The guiding principle is to ensure that students are placed in the most appropriate learning environment.
