Experiential Learning is encouraged through innovations like flipped classes, Reflection Sheets etc. Sports and co-curricular activities are given place of prime importance along with academics in the curriculum to encourage all- round development. The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows and that is what we at Modern strive to do.Founded in 1920, a century ago, Modern School is a visionarys dream. Lala Raghubir Singh with the motivation of his father Rai Bahadur Sultan Singh, dreamt of an eclectic institution which would provide the nation leaders of tomorrow. It was a dream well ahead of its time and how it has stood the test! Right from its inception to its realisation, Lala ji was involved in the fruition of his dream. His fathers house in Kashmiri Gate was a hub for the National leaders of the time and they all had an influence on young Lala ji who decided to start a school embedded with moral values and modern ideas in response to Bapus call for national education. His education was majorly impacted by Master Amir Chand, Pearson, Rev C.F. Andrews and influenced by Gandhi ji and Tagore. He brought together a team of like minded individuals like Sir Sobha Singh and Dr S K Sen. Ms Kamla Bose, with her experience in education became the first Principal to implement the dreams of the visionary and that is how the journey began

It is a best school, i have ever seen in my life, i didn't study here but this school given me a chance to practice for my wheelchair cricket prepration and i am thanksful that the supporting staff of the school for sportabilty is awesome😊

a very good school near barakhamba road metro stTion only 4 minutes to walk what female teachers have to wear what is the dress code for them saree or kurta suit please reply

Modern School Barakhamba Road is one of the oldest and best educational institutions not only in Delhi but in India. You would find some or the other popular names in its alumini list. The school is spread over several acres of land and provide one of the best educational and sports facilities to its occupants. Has a huge auditorium to host plays, dramas and activities along with 2 different canteens to cater to its students.

Very renowned school of Delhi NCR Situated at Barakhamba road, near Mandi House, Near to The Lalit Hotel New Delhi Very big premises & well equipped Swimming pool, Volleyball courts Big play ground Administration has kept it very lively Jet plane, tank etc has been kept to motivate children Faculties are also good.
