St. Peter's School has a rich history that dates back to 1874 when the Cowley Fathers established it in India. Originally, it served as a choir school for the parishioners of St. Peter's Church. Over time, it evolved and expanded its mission, including the care of destitute children, becoming an essential part of the community's educational landscape.

Its growth led to the establishment of St. Peter's Girls' High School in 1875, followed by the Boys' School in 1878, which received government support and community contributions.
In 1905, due to the Port Trust Railway expansion, the school relocated to its present site at Dockyard Road and Belvedere Road. After India gained independence, the school transitioned to trained educationists of the Anglo-Indian community.
The leadership of St. Peter's School saw several changes over the years, with notable figures like Mr. M. W. Duthie, Mr. C. J. Olliver, and Mr. T. C. Vaswani contributing to its legacy. f.Migration Certificate (If applicable)It will be the personal responsibility of the parent to inform the school in writing, if the student is undergoing any medical treatment / medical ailment / allergies etc. at the time of registration.

I’m an ex student of this school, back in the day school did pretty okay in terms of education but favoritism has a special place in this school. It is not uncommon for teachers to be biased towards some students who’s parents gives expensive gifts. Also since the past 10 years the graph is going down, the quality of education is mediocre, teachers are no longer motivated, way of teaching is so outdated and kids are pressurized unnecessarily. In the world of technology and innovation this school is way too behind. I feel for all the students currently enrolled in this money making business !

Their principal Eugene D’monte is clearly delusional of what he expects from his co workers. Also, he’s a hypocrite himself and has set unrealistic standards for students and coworkers. Don’t send your child to this school whilst he sits in the office as the principal

The school was established around 1860 by a group of pastors/priest known as the cowley fathers, I had the best years of my life with excellent teachers who really cared for the students, Mr. Myall was then the principal of this school, and the class teacher was Mr. D'monte who presently is the principal, still remember they didnt just teach subjects, they taught you how to learn and excel in what you love which exactly is the motto of this school "Esse Quam Videri" which translates into "To be rather then to seem"
