Play way Nursery School is one of the oldest school in Delhi which was established in the year 1965. At present the principal of the school is Mrs Madhu Parashar.

During the preschool years, "PLAY" is the only means by which a child learns. "PLAYWAY" starts the education of which child through play and thus makes learning experience fun and adventurous and at the same time gives the child a sense of competition and mastery overself. Through play, our children learn about the objects around, people and events in their lives. Their environment and most important the application of their knowledge and skills thus acquired in their day to day lives. 

The first five years in the child’s life are most crucial when 50% of the intelligence andvocabulary to developed. To make this learning very effective and beneficial ,PlaywayNursery School provides a very warm, friendly and co-operative and stimulatingenvironment where each child gets the personal attention. The ratio of teacher and childrenis 1:15. Our objectives are designed to focus on cognitive development stimulating thechild’s brain, increasing, their vocabulary. Playway is sensitive to every need of the child. Thus, the teaching methodology is simpleand full of fun, making it more effective and easy to retain. Every child is different and isgiven personal attention in order to understand his/her individual needs and requirements.Interactive games and a comfortable atmosphere make the child forget their inhibition andparticipate in all activities, making them more confident and independent.

To get acquainted with Indian tradition all festivals are celebrated with full enthusiasm. Weorganise” Sports Day” every year to inculcate in them the sportsman spirit and preparationsfor the same make the children physically more active . Our”Annual Day” is a greatattraction. All the children participate in abovementioned programmes. Their performancesin songs, skits, poems and plays on the stage is always appreciated by the parents.The children visit to Post Office, Police station, Gardens, Fire Station. The school also takesthem for the nature walks and to the picnics.We also organise orientation programmes for the parents of new children admitted toschool. During this session they are familiarized with our daily activities, our curriculumand teaching methods. Interview based workshop are organized to make the parents awareof the interview pattern in various school and their registration dates. Mock interviews arealso held to judge children by the teachers which give them the necessary practice andconfidence to adjust in the environment of the regular schools.Parents Teachers meetings are organized from time to time to keep the parents informedabout the progress of the child. Individual problems of the parents are also discussed anddealt with by our staff.
