Thanks for arranging the same. Concert was average, stage and presentation could have been better. The theme was good but little depressing. Some dances looked very chaotic. As compared to last annual function (Lorax theme) this was a little disappointing.

While the theme & messaging was very nice, the positioning of kids during the performance should have been done as per their height so that they are all visible to the audience.

The school was researched and decision to join, was made by my daughter.
She has been quite satisfied with her time at Candor and as a parent I have had no complaints.
The teachers are proficient and good with the students.
The hostels are well run and the chief warden Ms Tanmay, is a godsend and truly acts as a de-facto mother.

as a former student of this school , i would recommend that no one should come here. Because apart from the grand infrastructure, canteen facilities and the ambience .. tbh it’s not worth it. in-fact
when I had first joined candor as a student :everything seemed to be fine : the classes, teachers , classmates , and the overall school. in short my life was good, because I had joined in the last two sems of fifth grade so obviously at the time everything looked nice and rosy.
But as I grew older the school started to change and become more toxic.
now you must be wondering.. what about my academics ? well they were equally worse you could say. Because of my failing mental health due to the toxic classmates I had ( which I will explain in the next bit ) I had a complete downfall in my academics. I wasn’t scoring well and was often ridiculed by the teachers. They always gave the excuse that I was stupid or I wasn’t concentrating enough in classes or that I simply didn’t care less . none of which was true and I was struggling mentally which caused me to lose track of everything. however none of the teachers believed in me, and they never bothered to help me improve and let alone ask if I was okay.
now coming to the students, classmates and overall environment of candor.everything in one word would be toxic. my classmates were often toxic towards me as the years went by. they never spoke to me , never let me sit with them during lunch hours( even if I sat they immediately left the table ) never invited me to their parties or outings ( which I found out through social media) never used to include me in group convos or chats , never used to partner up with me in a grp project ( even if forced to ) and overall never used to share notes or important info about assignments when I missed school and asked them causing me to fail in all my classes , along with never allowing me the chance to participate in extracurricular activities by always finding a way to drop me and exclude me from participating in the event. they used to blame me for taking part and started to say how it was wrong of me to take part since i was being unfair to the others.
they were so toxic to the point they openly bullied me about my looks, personality and the stuff I did outside of school ( hobbies etc) they started to label me as this weirdo and stalker ( they even got physical in a fight once) to the point where when a new student came up to talk to me ( they immediately started to influence them about how bad and weird of a person I am ; hence the new student would start to avoid any interaction with me after day one ) . lots of other things happened which I don’t want to go into detail about. what did the teachers do about it? Nothing. absolutely nothing. instead they supported my classmates and said I was the wrong one here. the principal went as far as calling me crazy and insane and asked me to go for psychological testing.
one thing I have also noticed here is the social and class elitist attitudes between students and teachers. for students if you have money , come from a rich income family, have good looks or grades then you will automatically have no problem making friends here as this is the main criteria for them. if you don’t have any of these things like me , then you are deemed unworthy and weird and problematic.
for teachers it’s the same thing along with being an academic overachiever and all rounder , having a sibling who previously attended the school or having insane amounts of money can get you all the support you need from the teachers and the school which is what the former students writing all the good reviews here have and have been supported more than required by the school for the following aspects . I’ve spoken to many seniors and juniors of mine and they all left due to social issues.
hence I’m not alone in this regard . part 2 will be more on the IB program and my experiences. overall parents please rethink thrice before putting your children here if you value mental health and well-being for your children.

Candor isn't just some IB diploma factory, it is my stomping ground for the past two years. Seriously, the campus is epic - like a nature escape. And the teachers? Forget robots spitting facts, they were like mentors who actually cared.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Candor International School has provided the students with excellent guidance ensuring a bright future for their students. The IB curriculum in Candor International school offers a wide range of subjects for students to opt for and explore for two years. The teachers share their in-depth knowledge through personalised and innovative teaching methods. Candor holds great importance to IB's core elements: CAS, TOK and Extended Essay ensuring the students to explore outside the academic curriculum and enhance the student's analytical and critical thinking skills. The friendly and family-like environment provides the students with an excellent support system.

As a current IB student of this school, it is an ideal institution for students to explore. My experience as the Ex-School Captain of this school has allowed me to gain a distinct perspective of the school's management and students, whilst pushing myself to acquire leadership and team work skills. I believe the IB curriculum in particular prepares you to push yourself to the limits and become a well rounded individual whilst learning life skills such as being able to effectively manage time. With its CAS component, it allows myself as a student to excel holistically by exploring community service, personal skill development, and other aspects rather than just academics. As a student of the IB Coordinator Mr Gourab, I am very much thankful for his constant advices and supervision to ensure the two years of DP are a smooth ride. The school also has a balanced crowd with mixed cultures and teachers that are always ready for guidance. Personally as a hosteller, the friendly students and the caring dorm parents are indeed the reason for a hassle-free high school experience.
