Indoor and outdoor sports are provided by school. the school does have transport facility. Admission process generally begins in the month of Feb/March. Here does not have boarding facility. Good part is school and parents together can only support the child to grow in a desired way. Hence it holds PTMs regularly and welcome parent’s suggestions. One of the best part of this school is alumni network of this school they respect all the passout students and after they out students comes again this school and share his expensive experience to the students it is also helpful for select any line in the future. My daughter is studying in The Newtown School for the past 7 years. I must say that it is one of the best schools in Kolkata for overall holistic education of a child. I am very satisfied with my child’s learning and growth. The teachers are efficient, knowledgeable and helpful towards the children. All teachers and staff behaviour are cordial. Very good care of kids security and neat and clean environment. The school is expensive and the charges are justified with the provides in terms of kids learning. There are along with the regular subject classes, other classes for robotics, 3D Printing, Sculpture, dance, music, different sports and many other club activities with no extra cost. The learning methodology is technologically advanced. I am a teacher as well associated with a global ed-tech company. I have taught students from the best schools in Kolkata as well. Hence I am aware of the quality of education provided in some of the so called top schools. I must say that I am extremely satisfied in this regard with The Newtown School. It's really a good school and I'm an ex student (currently in GHIS). I was here till class VII. However, I had to leave and couldn't continue till class 12 as I wasn't being able to handle the pressure, this school pressurises a lot. Despite the fact that the ratio between the students and the teacher is 1:20, having a tuition is definitely a must! The overall system is great.

It's a professionally Managed School. I admitted both my kids here but taken them out to other school based on my needs for my wards. I can easily park my vehicles as the road nearby school is quite broad in compare to other schools where its difficult to park vehicles. School is well maintained, and school rooms are spacious and neatly managed. Communication over the portal and land phones for various reasons are very easy to manage. Parents gets all classes related important notifications through WhatsApp. Regarding academics, if the students follow the classes, then they don't need to study while going back to home. But how many students seriously follows that, big question. So as a result the students get pressurized while at home to cover school syllabus. Extra-curricular activities are missing here. Even if something happens, that goes for selected students only. I think every student need equal opportunity to showcase their skills. School need to take care of this as well. They need to make all students feel responsible and important. Parent can meet School teacher and Principal as an when needed and get updates about their ward. Teachers and principal are very helpful and provide necessary guidance. School provides free remedial Classes for students who needs improvement to subject they are weak. School Portal Helps Parents to gets information and lodge any complain or register for activities or pay fees and get any information about their wards easily online without visiting School. Overall, the school is highly organized, and a good system is in place. For Academic excellence and book-based education, they score 10/10 but for Overall Students improvement, they scored poor, they need to take care of this little gray areas for overall performance.

Garden High is affiliated to CISCE...The motto of the school is to let knowledge lead to wisdom, and wisdom to emancipation..The first Academic Session of the School began in November,2001. This School is an attempt to give a ‘local habitation and a name’ to the vision that Satikanta Guha and his wife, Priti Lata Guha, had tried to give shape to in founding South Point School...That vision is shared by all who have played a part in founding the School and are involved in its present management...The four houses of Garden High School are Chinar, Cedar, Oak and Palm.Competitions happen between the four houses . The matches are played in the school field....A school should be ‘training minds and not stuffing them’. . It is with this mission that pupils at Garden High School are encouraged to question...The school is affiliated to the CISCE.... their campus and facilities are much better. Special attractions are the Garden and the Library which really deserve a five star. Their teacher-student ratio is good. The results are up there in top 3/5 schools in Bengal...Fees are on a bit higher side. They do have an international school in the same building too...
