In Collaboration with ISKON, Bangalore, New Horizon Gurukul School has designed the academic curriculum in a way to impart values set by NCERT.
The focus of NIVE is on students above grade V, New Horizon Gurukul teaches and imparts values and ethics through stories. Small activities and modern teachings through ‘Vedic Stories’ are a part of the curriculum.
The value-plus program organizes various activities to encourage and teach students the values required for the growth of society and individuals.
Celebrated across the world in the month of October, In October 2020, New Horizon Gurukul hoisted some competitions under NIVE(Samskriti) based on the theme ‘Artsy Contest and Hashtagged Contest’.
Artsy Contest- Hosted for grade I- VIII- A collage-making and colouring competition based on the principle of moral values and culture.
Hashtagged Contest- Hosted for grade IX- XI-Influence of social media is huge, Spreading the goodness of practising values through various social media posts.
Grandparents Day celebrated all across the world, New Horizon Gurukul School on 13th Sep 2020, organized the Grandparents day and on the occasion of values and learning through stories, activities and videos was done. A unique program was conducted for grade I- XI, on the occasion of grandparents day as a leap towards appreciating all the joy and happiness, grandparents have to offer.
Samskriti is the annual fest at New Horizon Gurukul School in Collaboration with NIVE to unveil the potential of the children. Each kid is talented, and Samskriti fest unveils the talent hidden inside.
