Good Earth School was founded in 1993 and is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi and prepares students for ICSE (Std X) & ISC (Std XII). The school is co-educational. It is located at Naduveerapattu Village (12 km West of Tambaram), approximately 18 km South East of Chennai city airport by road in the state of Tamil Nadu, in India. We are situated on a lush green 16 acre campus away from the humdrum of city life. The school has classes starting from LKG to class XII. With a strength of about 450 students and 40 teachers, the student-teacher ratio is kept relatively small to aid individual attention for every student. We are a progressive, child-centered, co-educational private school, committed to providing a holistic education for all its pupils. At Good Earth, the learning process is seen as one that is both challenging and enjoyable. The school thinks that education should foster creativity, independent thinking, exploration, and questioning as a lifelong process. The intention is to provide an atmosphere free of authority and fear which enables the child to grow and flower in goodness.

School is good. My observation for the people who are looking for admission: They have admissions each year for less than 30 kids(only prekg), in which male/female ratio is 50% , in which 90% seats filled by siblings, alumni and so on. Open seats will be around 5 which goes to most influential or most eligible parents, your kids may be super bright but school does not care. If you fall into 10% remaining category keep your expectations very low on securing seat for your kid. All the very best, good luck.

I have been waiting for the last ten years. In fact, even before my marriage, I was very interested in having my children study here. Because a lot of my clients' children are studying here. I had a dream of what school would be like. This is the only school that fits that dream very well. Schooling is an important goal for me to have an understanding of life. I talk a lot to some of my clients about schools. I will find out by asking about the school where their children attend. Good Earth school is one of my favorite and most agreeable of them all. This year my son has to study LKG. I look forward to enrolling in this school.

It is one of the commercial institutions like many other educational businesses if prestige is the primary motto, students can be a part of it Parents & students involvement alone helps kids to succeed Most of the teachers though hold B. Ed do not apply psychology to deal with children -especially few who 'work' there for decades School feedback never helps children's growth at high school level or later The school is highly biased & prejudiced GES runs with the old reputation Till primary classes they practice JK's philosophy later they do not practice what they preach They do not listen to the inputs shared by the parents rather they claim, 'you may abide by the school rules else you don't have to be a part of the school ' Officially they try to be politically right Serious minded kids can be average performers, for the rest-this is never a right choice

Classes are kept small with 20 to 25 students in each class which facilitates interaction between teachers and pupils.Parent – Teacher conferences are arranged periodically which help involve parents as essential participants in the process of the child’s learning. The school does not condition the students in any particular belief. So the mind is free to ask fundamental questions, enquire and learn.
The ArrivalStudents may register for admissions from the first week of January. Registration, however, does not guarantee admission as seats are limited. Admissions are made after careful interviews with parents and children. Children of those parents who would opt for the kind of education that the school stands for, would be preferred. For classes other than Kindergarten, children are assessed in the basic subjects viz English, Hindi or Tamil, Mathematics and general knowledge. An assessment is conducted in an informal atmosphere and the child does not need to be coached for such an assessment.
The DepartureWe do not expect children to be withdrawn during the academic session June – April. Should it be necessary, parents are expected to give a month’s notice in advance. Fees will be collected upto the end of the year.
