St. Columba’s School is a highly acclaimed Christian Brothers institution. Amongst the best schools in the country, it is widely known because of its prime location in the very heart of Lutyens’ Delhi, its long list of distinguished alumni, its dedicated staff, its exuberant present students and its leadership in education.
Albeit a late entrant to the Christian Brothers family, St. Columba’s took next to no time to become their premier school. St. Columba’s, which began in 1941 with a small complement of 32 students, now has over 3000 students with many names on the waiting list for admission. The school’s impact and continuations in the field of education was duly acknowledged by The Education Quality Foundation of India (EQFI) when it selected St. Columba’s as the most deserving recipient of "The Whole School Award" for dissemination of quality education. Education World has over the last few years placed the school among the best boys’ schools in the country and the best boys’ school in Delhi.

St. Columba's School Admission Procedure
- The Principal reserves for himself the right to refuse admission to any boy without having to furnish a reason.
- Formal admission is complete only after the application has been considered by the Principal, the parent informed of his decision and the admission card is signed by the Principal.
- No pupil will be admitted to the school without a transfer certificate from the last school which he attended.
- For the withdrawal of a pupil from the School, a calendar months’ notice must be given in writing, otherwise a calendar month’s fees will be charged. A full year’s fees shall however be charged for any withdrawal that occurs after 120 days of the commencement of the academic year.
- A student must be withdrawn from the school if he does not pass the class in 2 years.
- A transfer Certificate can be obtained only after all the dues have been paid. Duplicate copies of a Transfer Certificate are ordinarily not issued. In special cases such certificates will be issued after verification, and on payment of Rs. 500/-.
- A duplicate copy of the report card can be obtained on payment of Rs. 500/-.
- Duplicate transcripts will only be made available to a student if a photocopy of the original is attached and on payment of Rs. 500/-.
- Students whose fees have not been cleared will not have their names included in the class list the following year.
- Students who remain absent without prior sanction for TWO consecutive School weeks shall be struck off the rolls without explanation.
- Parents MUST inform the school in writing regarding any absence beyond 2 days. However, every absence must be noted and signed by Parents on the assigned page in the diary.
- If a student is re-admitted, a re-admission fee has to be paid.
