I was ex student here. This is the worst school to send your children to. It is an extremely torturous environment. I barely studied for a few weeks and left the school. They refused to release my belongings when my parents went to ask. It is a very hostile environment. Plus, it is extremely unhealthy environment for a co-ed school. Keeping boys and girls from basic interaction is a very unhealthy practice for overall development of your child. Please think again if you want your child to go to this school. I am writing this review after several years of leaving this school.

AN EXTORTIONIST IN FALSE GARB OF EDUCATIONIST ============================================ This man Vinayak Kaletla who is the Director (founder) of this school and a self-proclaimed "Transformer" is in reality, an extortionist. Let me narrate our ordeal at Abhyasa. In Nov 2021, my wife Gargi Basu joined Abhyasa as Teacher in English. She had to sign a three-year contractual bond wherein one of the clauses specified that, should the employee resign before completion of the contract period and in between the sessions, the person would be liable to compensate with five months salary. Her original certificates and testimonials were kept in school's custody. As per contract, my wife was provided with free accommodation within the school premises. The school followed a punishing schedule and used coercive methods forcing teachers to work double shift everyday with no holiday even on Sundays and national holidays. In return they were paid salary only for single shift. Salary was deducted when a teacher fell sick and was unable to attend duty. Even a COVID patient was not exempted. No salary slip was given due to which it was impossible to figure out the details of salary cut. Vinayak Kaletla's "chamchas" in the school admin blindly "obeyed" all his bidding without any questions asked. It was a kind of medieval period exploitative feudal atmosphere set in 21st century! There was absolutely no culture & breach of discipline was rampant. A group of senior male students openly & repeatedly passed offensive derogatory remarks about certain lady teachers. They flouted every rule & mercilessly bullied junior students to follow their footsteps. But school mgmt. took no cognizance of their notoriety. Instead, Vinayak Kaletla rewarded them with fancy posts in students' management body. This is the nature of "Gurukul culture" Abhyasa management boasts of! When my wife protested against such inhuman working conditions, her accommodation was withdrawn from her on the pretext that a new teacher with a larger family would be occupying it. She was allotted a dilapidated apartment with broken doors & windows, leaking sanitary system, dampness & infested with field rats which was simply unfit for human habitation. She pleaded for an alternate habitable accommodation but her appeal went unheeded. In this manner, Vinayak Kaletla artificially created a situation where my wife would be left with no other option but to resign and he would have the excuse to impose on her the clause of paying five months salary as compensation for "violating" the contractual bond. Under such living conditions, my wife fell seriously ill and she was not even provided with basic medical assistance. I was located in Hyderabad and I decided to move my wife out of that pathetic place at the earliest. She tendered her resignation on 6th June, 2023, and instantly she was intimated about the "violation" of the clause for having resigned before the completion of the contractual period. The school Admin head Mrs Veena Venugopal blocked access to our personal belongings and refused to release my wife's original certificates & testimonials unless she paid back 5 months salary amount which totalled to ₹1,84,000/- (Rupees One Lac Eighty Four Thousand only). Left with no other option we were forced to pay this huge amount. This EXTORTED money was put into "Sri Satya Sai Sanskruti Educational Society", a fictitious body run by Vinayak Kaletla to park his ill-gotten money. These are projected as "donations" to hoodwink the government agencies. Ironically, all these clandestine activities are carried out by him by blatantly projecting Sri Satya Sai Baba as the poster boy of his school and also his business mascot. @ Abhyasa If the working conditions at Abhyasa are so "positive", then why did the ex-COO, ex-Principal, ex-physics teacher and ex-chemistry teacher resign back-to-back within a span of 6 months and before completion of their contractual period? Also, I want to know, on what LEGAL PREMISE this amount of ₹1,84000/- was forcibly extorted from us by Abhyasa management.

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING BEFORE PUTTING YOUR KIDS IN THIS SCHOOL!! i studied in this school for 3 years. and i have to admit it was one of the best 3 years in my life. i enjoyed everything especially Saturday movie nights and interhouse competition. the food was great! i remember waiting in a line for almost 10 minutes for kofta! the teachers were amazing too! the math teacher Mrs Manju helped me a lot to learn and understand every concept. The teachers always listened to you and helped me cope up and keep up with the other kids! although when it came to the principal she was not very nice at solving problems and her behaviour towards students was a problem. i believe her name is shailja or something near that. she was the principle in 2019 (I WAS IN 8TH GRADE). She is very ill mannered and a terrible influence on the school. We had a night stay with people who were going to teach us about the sun and the planets. We begged the principal to let us take our phones because we wanted to record the experience She denied the request. We then asked her if we could take at least a camera. And again the request was denied. When we went to the resort rooms. Her daughter who was in fourth grade at the time (i was in 8th grade) showed us her phone and chocolates her mom(the principle) let her bring. I was so flummoxed because she denied our request for a phone and camera but let her 4th grade daughter bring one. This was not the only thing about her. Even Mrs Triveni (coordinator of hostel) wasn't a very good teacher. This once one of my friend was assaulted by a teacher on a festival. She trusted Mrs Triveni and went to her and vented all her emotions and what had happened. Mrs Triveni simply smiled and said "its because of your dress''. It was a festival and we all wore long dresses. Hers just had a slit on the shoulder and everything else was covered. Even if it wasn’t it’s not the victims fault.. The teacher wasn’t even educated about all of this… Mrs Triveni didn't say anything until the parents got involved. The school also did not have any qualifications of the teacher nor the documents. They didn't have documents/feedback from the teachers old school. They also refused to fire the teacher because 'it never happened before and he didn't mean to and he was just playing around'' They also locked the door while the parent and teachers were talking about this. which isn't allowed. After the parents threatened to take the kid out of the school and take it to the higher authorities they then fired the teacher. The school also didnt have CPS before this incident. This is also not the first assault that took place in the school. They said they were going to install CPS number in the phone calls so kids can vent out their issues but that never happened. Even the senoirs are mean to the juniors. There are dress codes in the school people are supposed to follow. When i wore a shirt that didn't cover my bottom from the back they yelled at her and made a scene. The next day the same senoirs that did yelled at me wore a shirt just like mine and when i confronted them they yelled at me and not me theyre older so i owe them respect. This is not the only incident. Apart from that the school is fine. I don't see why its in the top 100 schools of HYD but its alright! The school is very strict the people aren’t that good and people are a little cheap minded. but apart from that it’s alright

Third class management, selfish, greedy, unprofessional management. They don't know hiring process and if they hire on adhoc basis than don't pay salary and leave them halfway.. so don't do job at this school. When they need than they have different tone and when job is done than they kick you off without paying salary...be aware of this fraudsters..

Absolutely disgusting school, my grandson studied in this school last year and experienced hell. He was harassed for being tall. Ragging is extremely horrible. The seniors torture their juniors. I don’t recommend this school to anyone.

I have studied here for 6 years. The school and teachers made us realize that education can be beyond books, a person can be good at anything like sports, arts, or other activities similarly, and no student is left behind. Abhyasa is just like your home, and a very great place to study.😊
