Arwachin International School - Dilshad Garden

The Arwachin Shiksha Samiti was established in 1960 by Shri Shrinivas Sharma. Arwachin International School , started on 5th April, 2003, is its youngest and most enterprising venture ,and is looked after by ShriArun Sharma. This decision was made after the great success of running the following institutions:  

1.  Arwachin Senior Secondary School, VivekVihar2.  Arwachin Senior Secondary School, Balbir Nagar, Shahdara3.  Arwachin Industrial Training Center, Vivek Vihar4.  Center for Non Collegiate Classes, VivekVihar5.  Arwachin Cricket Academy, Dilshad Garden6.  Arwachin Preparatory School, Vasundhara7.  Arwachin Public School, Vasundhara          CBSE (i) curriculum was introduced in Arwachin International School in the year 2013-14. Till Class 6, the parents have an option to choose between CBSE (i) or Main but the school has gone completely international at the entry level i.e.L.K.G. from the session 2014-15.

Students are the future of our society. We strive to make sure that our students turn out to be sensitive, emphatic and responsible citizens. We aim to impart holistic education to ensure that our children grow up as individuals who are morally upright, emotionally balanced, culturally integrated, socially aware and spiritually oriented.

We at AIS feel that ‘Values maketh a man’. To guide students into being sensible, sensitive and adaptive  individuals, we make sure that the school environment serves as a mirror to what we seek in students. In today’s ever changing times, AIS endeavours to help students to imbibe qualities.

OUR MOTTO

“I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only make them think.” ? Socrates. At AIS, we believe that teaching learning has to be child centric and contribute to the greater good of the students. Instead of giving out readymade information, we implore the students to think critically and come up with new ideas and thought process. This helps to boost their confidence and make them conscious citizens of tomorrow. We strive to bring in a mixture of modern technology in teaching tools and techniques along with keeping the students rooted with our rich culture and traditions.

The school follows the NCERT syllabus and pattern and the teacher student ratio is maintained at 1:32 so that a comfortable environment can be created in the classrooms. In the coming years, we expect to introduce the IGCSE and GCE 'A' levels along with a choice to pursue IB curriculum. This will in turn make us an International school in the true sense of the term. We are working diligently towards it but this dream can turn into a reality only with the support of our esteemed committee- the parents of our students. All the festivals of India are celebrated in the school to keep our students rooted to their rich heritage and traditions. The students are entrusted with different responsibilities and with active participation, they develop the qualities of team spirit, brotherhood and cooperation and well mature as global citizen of tomorrow's world.
