The school is located within the diplomatic circle and that is the only good thing about it. The junior school teachers are not friendly and they scare the kids. The kids lose their interest in learning as early as in class 3.
Extra curricular activities are not upto the mark. There are no project works being done which will make the learning experience in Science, SST, Maths, Hindi etc fun. The teachers make the topics utterly boring and emphasise on rote learning.
The school is full of bullies and misunderstandings. The teachers do not intervene to teach good moral values to the kids. The kids are hitting each other as part of their play and are turning their peers blue and black.
The kids have been stealing stationary items, tiffin boxes, bottles, tiffin bags, sweaters and even shoes and jackets of each other. The school authority tends to overlook these things which can be rectified by much simpler ways. The 'lost and found' box is of no use.
The school does not promote healthy discussion amongst students rather the students are let alone to gossip unsupervised all the time.
A proper direction to a healthy learning environment is missing, in all aspects viz physical, mental, social, educational, emotional and spiritual.
I hope the school management looks into the gaps in establishing a healthy learning environment and bridge it as soon as possible. It will not take much of an effort but proper planning and few ideas.
